I grew up in Northern Virginia, between Washington D.C. and Richmond, Virginia, until I moved to Houston, Texas during my freshmen year at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I call all three of these places home, no matter where I am. I come from a very Swedish family with three siblings and one sister-in-law, all whom I am close to, despite being the youngest by 7 years! I also have an adorable niece.

I try to lead my life with the qualities I value; love, respect, understanding, learning, and communication. I do think I reflect these ideals, as my friends and family describe me as adventurous, compassionate, loyal, determined, spontaneous, particular, and spritely.

My main passion in this industry does lie in new works, but I also enjoy so much other aspects of this industry, such as comedies and commentary pieces. My true passion, above all others, is just getting to perform. Creating strong relationships is also important to me, especially when working together on a project. The relationships between the artistic teams, the cast, and anyone I work with is extremely important to me, because I believe it makes the "vision", the "soul", and the meaning of the work more clear and creates a positive work environment.

Learning is so important to me and I reflect that in my work. I have a very open mindset and I find so many different genres, plots, stories, and so on incredibly interesting to me. When people ask what type of music, or what type of tv shows I like my go to response is always "I'm a little all over the place with what I like" and that is something I am proud of. I love getting to look at new characters and reprised alike, finding the soul and humanity in each character I represent, no matter what they contribute to the plot. I have done shows from Les Miserables to Bowling for Beginners to commercials, and I have enjoyed every experience.

I have worked professionally with the Riverside Center of the Performing Arts for about 10 years. Now, I am at Indiana University, about to graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Italian. At Indiana University, I have been able to explore and see many different works; my first Shakespeare play as a zoom show, watching and auditioning for works I've never even heard of but are now among my favorites, and doing my first professional show as an adult. Additionally, I've been able to explore with life in general; joining a sorority, becoming involved with mental health groups, learning about different organizations committed to creating a better world in the different aspects they focus on, and meeting people from all different walks of life. I have already grown so much since I've come to IU, especially under such amazing professors; Richard Roland, Raymond Fellman, DJ Gray, Lauren Haughton Gillis, Ilene Reid, and much more.
